Dufeu's bakery was founded in 1988 at Lac-Mégantic. From the beginning, a shipping system was established in order to deliver the products to natural food stores throughout Québec.Daniel Dufeu

At the beginning, the production was mainly comprised of sourdough bread, various pâtés made of millet and seitan, and quiches.

Since 1997, we have been located in Sherbrooke, where we opened a store in the downtown area.

Beside producing our famous sourdough bread, we offer our customers a variety of breads, croissants made of yeast, pastries (apple turnovers, dates turnovers, muffins, Danishes, chocolate buns). Visit the products page.

Mr Dufeu is still the owner and manager of the production. His concern for organic products has always been entirely linked with his approach to a healthy and natural nutrition. He has been working in the organic area since the beginning of the eighties in France.

The experience and the practical knowledge of Mr Dufeu as an authentic baker artisan goes back to 1969. After a complete training in a old-fashioned bakery from 1969 until 1972, he made the most of his knowledge and has worked in many places in France, Europe, Middle East and in Canada since 1986. His passion for being a baker and his concern to produce high quality products are still alive.
